At a glance:
The Ask: Position Hydrow as the top-tier home fitness solution by redefining the indoor rowing experience.
The Challenge: People crave the sensory and emotional connection of outdoor workouts — something traditional indoor routines fail to deliver.
Our Objective: Make Hydrow the go-to choice for those seeking immersive, mindful, and motivating fitness at home.
Our Strategy: Framing Hydrow as a transportive experience that reconnects users with nature.
Most people want to work out more.
Fewer people actually do — because the experience just isn’t that fun.
Indoor workouts feel static, repetitive, disconnected from the world outside.
73% of U.S. adults say they want to exercise weekly,
but nearly 60% struggle to stay consistent.
Why is it so hard to keep moving?
71% prefer outdoor exercise,
yet over half say they don’t have regular access to nature.
People want workouts that move them, literally and emotionally.
What if indoor workout could take you somewhere?

Creative Idea
“Row Beyond Walls”
Set in the heart of city chaos, Hydrow reminds passersby that nature isn’t far, but just one pull away.
Our pop-ups bring Hydrow to life — a multisensory booth placed in central city areas.
Visitors step inside and are instantly transported: real rowing footage on wraparound screens, ambient water sounds, and subtle scent of pine.
